In accordance with the legislation in force, the Maribor Regional Archives performs the public archival service for the entire area of Prekmurje (the Administrative Unit of Murska Sobota and the Administrative Unit of Lendava). In order to make so far collected and preserved archival records more easily accessible to the people of Prekmurje for scientific research, administrative and business purposes, the use of records is ensured in the Prekmurje Unit of the Maribor Regional Archives at Cvetkova ulica 1 in Murska Sobota.

Reading Room of the Prekmurje Unit
The Reading Room is intended for the use of archival records for scientific research purposes.
The Reading Room is open every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday between 8 am and 2 pm.
