TRANSCRIBATHON ZAGREB 2022 – EXPERIENCES AND RESULTS

Abstract:
Transcribathon Zagreb 2022 was held at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb from November 7-11, 2022. It was organized as a part of the Enrich Europeana + project. During that period a certain number of students worked on a few selected archival fonds and collections. Their task was transcribing the uploaded documents on Europeana and the Transcribathon platform. The event had a competitive tone because the best students in three categories received awards. The Archives organized a conference “Cultural Heritage and AI” on the first two days of the Transcribathon Zagreb event. This paper will focus on preparations for the Transcribathon Zagreb 2022 event and the results. It will also have a part in which we will explain the idea for the conference, who and why the lecturers were, and its overall outcome.

Transcribathon Zagreb 2022 – izkušnje in rezultati
Transcribathon Zagreb 2022 je potekal na Filozofski fakulteti v Zagrebu od 7. do 11. novembra 2022. Organiziran je bil kot del projekta Enrich Europeana +. V tem obdobju je določeno število študentov delalo na nekaj izbranih arhivskih fondih in zbirkah. Njihova naloga je bila prepisovati naložene dokumente na platformo Europeana in platformo Transcribathon. Dogodek je imel tekmovalno naravo, saj so najboljši študentje v treh kategorijah prejeli nagrade. Arhivi pa so v prvih dveh dneh dogodka organizirali konferenco "Kulturna dediščina in umetna inteligenca". Ta prispevek se osredotoča na priprave na dogodek Transcribaton Zagreb 2022 in njegove rezultate. Prav tako vsebouje del, v katerem bomo pojasnili idejo za konferenco, kdo so bili predavatelji in zakaj ter njen celoten izplen.
